Kindred the Family Soul is more than a name -It's a legacy of love, music, and authenticity.

We are Fatin and Aja, a husband-and-wife duo from Philadelphia who turned our love story into a soulful soundtrack that has resonated with families, lovers, and dreamers around the world for over two decades. Since our debut album Surrender to Love in 2003, we've poured our real-life experiences -marriage, parenthood, growth, and perseverance -into every note and lyric.

Our music is rooted in neo-soul, inspired by the spirit of community and fueled by the truth of Black love. Albums like In This Life Together, Love Has No Recession, and A Couple Friends reflect the heart of who we are -partners navigating life hand and hand, using art to inspire, uplift, and connect.
